WOODLAND CREATURES: Cowl

My entry for Vixenkiba's design a creature contest
this is for the WOODLAND CREATURES section of the contest.

This is a Cowl. Its a mix of Caracal-Lynx-Barn Owl.
This one is my little dude named Macaroni.

Info on the species:
longer the tips on the ears the more magically inclined (think a witches familiar in terms of magical power)
all tend to see spirits/unseen beings
Possibly have '9 lives' more likely its just a special magical healing property
can move their heads 180 degrees
can be giant goofballs
'dance' with their wings splayed
front talons tend to be out but are retractable
great at climbing trees
colors range from whites with browns/tans,to whites with rust/orange/blue, on rare occasions
they can be black/brown or albino 
chirping chittering screech a combo of when cats chitter at birds/squirrels and the sounds owls make
are good at becoming 'loaf' shaped
when they shed they look like giant cotton balls of poof
giant bean toes
can be domesticated,tend to be wild
very fast runners
about the size of a common wolf (can be smaller/larger on rare occasions)
can purr/hoot/hiss/sing
carnivore
tend to live in trees/like to be perched up high,can also dwell in caves on mountain sides
tend to like cold weather
eyes are usually pitch black. Can be pale green/orange/bright blue.
Great hearing
Amazing hunters
sharpen their claws on everything
have a mouth made of nightmares 
mainly nocturnal but can function in the day,sleep a ton
very playful
can fly
Like water
have super soft fur and feathers
live in woods/mountain area if not domestic
